Specification
Great plant with a blue-gray charm and stout form. Most often used as an accent plant, which does not give it the justice it deserves.
Failure mode
I can’t explain why, but this plant either thrives or struggles in our region. I have several planted in my yard and they struggle, while the neighbors’ across the street thrive.
Year three
Once fully established it can be a great plant to accent adjacent plant material in winter, not only when flowering in summer and fall.
